Rick, Robert and Rove: The New Conservative Power Trio?

San Diego based conservative radio talk show host Rick Amato (far left, pardon the expression) with his pals, conservative Hollywood activist and actor Robert Davi, with Republican political consultant, commentator and author Karl Rove. Rick recently had dinner in Los Angeles with Davi and Rove. Reportedly Rove chatted up Rick about the growing influence of his talk show in conservative circles, and had some highly complimentary things to say.

Rick Amato Show Honored at San Diego Press Club Journalism Awards
Congratulations to my friend and fellow radio talk show host Rick Amato for notching a BIG win at Tuesday night’s San Diego Press Club Journalism Awards. In his FIRST time ever entering this prestigious competition, Rick won first place in the Radio Interview category.
The winning entry from “The Rick Amato Show Presented by The Washington Times” originally aired in July 2008. It focused on the use of drugs with known drastic side effects such as suicidal behavior by the Veterans Administration in treating wounded veterans from the war on terror in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Amato’s Take on the Sheriff’s Race
KCBQ AM-1170 and Washington Times Radio Talk Show Host Rick Amato recently weighed in on a sheriff’s candidate debate held September 12 in El Cajon….
On Saturday, I had the opportunity to sponsor and co-moderate a debate among the San Diego County Sheriff candidates. It followed the East County TEA Party, where an estimated 1500 people attended. Questions were made available for the audience to ask of the candidates. All four candidates participated.
It was a loud, engaged audience with plenty of sparks flying among the candidates themselves. Here are my observations from the debate.
