I’m surprised none of my fellow bloggers have posted any commentary yet on the number one issue of the week in the state of California: the now-infamous Assembly Bill 1176 veto memo signed by Governor Schwarzenegger that appears to have a personal message embedded in a code using the first letter of seven successive lines of copy. In a few weeks the members of the California Republican Party Central Committee will gather in Riverside County for our semi-annual convention. At that convention, delegates will consider a change that I have proposed in the state party’s bylaws that, if passed, would establish that only registered Republicans may cast ballot in the primary to determine who will be our party’s nominee in all partisan general elections match ups.
