Your Correspondent spent fun-filled  hours at Saturday’s  marathon endorsing session by the SD Republican Party.  The tension and stress were palpable for both candidates and supporters. You know the results by now, but the meeting’s   Fairness is why you hear  no complaints or demands for recounts today.  The Rules were printed and distributed  in Advance, every GOP candidate was invited to speak, open debate followed among delegates,  and then a  written vote came in each race, with 1 supporter for each candidate watching the votes counted !    Imagine that.   It is a tribute to Chairman Tony Krvaric,  Executive Director  Barrett Tetlow,  Finance chief Francis Barraza  and parliamentarians Bill Baber &  Andrew Skale that everyone walked away at  the day’s end thinking,    “I was treated fairly today.”    Transparency is right,  and it is  also Smart.
