The Union Tribune Today discovers a “New” candidate for San Diego County Assessor —— But SD Rostra first reported Ernie Dronenburg’s candidacy on Dec. 11, 2009!

The SD Union-Tribune ran this breathless headline in today’s edition:

———— COUNTY ASSESSOR RACE GETS NEW PLAYER —————-

The lead sentence gushed, “A new candidate has joined the race for
county clerk-recorder-assessor in a big way.” Their “new” candidate
is, “Fallbrook tax consultant Ernest Dronenburg”.

“Rostra” readers will remember Ernie’s candidacy was first reported
right here…. LAST YEAR (!) on December 11, 2009. That is 54 days
