The San Diego County Registrar of Voters has apparently assigned the letter J to the La Mesa Medical Marijuana Initiative, which will appear on the November ballot. Thus, Prop J.
Some La Mesa insiders are hoping the campaign slogan will be “Pass that J.”

Obviously La Mesa voters could use a little “J.” Perhaps it will open their minds to the fact that they should stop reelecting drunken decrepit Art Madrid as mayor. Shucks, with enough bong hits, voters might even reconsider the folly of imposing a 3/4% city sales tax on themselves for the public employees’ benefit.
Hmmm . . . . MJ may not be a strong enough drug for this task.
