NOTE: The Registrar updated their system with the last round of registrations/mailed ballots, which have caused the numbers to jump around just slightly and some trends to reverse, as far as percentages are concerned.
As of November 3, 2016 at 5:00pm, 1,083,424 ballots have been mailed to registered voters throughout the county. 392,194 voters have voted (either by returning their ballot, or through early voting).
This equates to an overall voting rate of 36.20% among all ballots mailed.
Breaking down the ballots by party, total returns are comprised of 36.27% Republicans (5.92% above registration), 39.41% Democrats (2.54% above registration), and 24.32% independent (8.46% below registration).
Here is an overview of how AV returns have come in, relative to registration. These are the final totals for these elections.
