San Diegans have a clear choice in this election: The far right has a candidate who thrives on playing political games and re-fighting old battles; the far left’s candidate is a career politician with tired ideas, beholden to the same old interest groups. I’m offering a different approach — someone who will work with all San Diegans to solve problems and move our city forward.

I think we can rely on what Carl DeMaio will do if elected. We pretty much know what Bob Filner will do.
But Fletcher? He’s poll driven. A reed in the wind. No one knows what he will do — least of all Fletcher. He’ll do whatever best advances his political career.
But at least the SD POA is confident enough that he’ll be pro-labor that THEY have endorsed him for mayor.
And endorsements DO matter. In this case, I trust the honed judgment of our fine officers in blue. Or khaki, in San Diego.
Dick, I disagree. Besides your “poll driven” assertion that seems based on personal conjecture, what exactly do you have against Nathan Fletcher? Have you actually read any of his proposals?
