SAN DIEGO — Nathan Fletcher’s press release attack on District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis’ integrity is a new low. As the County’s top prosecutor, Bonnie makes tough decisions every day and she makes those decisions based on the law and what is the right thing to do.
Bonnie is doing her job as District Attorney during this campaign. Fletcher, on the other hand, has only shown up for 15 out of 50 session days in the Assembly from January 4 to March 29 of this year. How can an Assemblymember represent his constituents if he doesn’t show up for work?

How can the District Attorney continue to persecute ill medical marijuana patients if she is so busy running around town trying to be Mayor? Does Bonnie now have time to look the other way when her rich friends commit crimes and she doesn’t even lift a finger? Perhaps Ms. Dumanis is so eager to climb up the political ladder, that she will now actually prosecute REAL CRIMES and not bogus, easy to get a plea stuff that she then brags about per her “94% conviction rate.” Karma is catching up with Bonnie, as she falls to the wayside here and watches Nathan’s star ascend. Jennifer Tierney, don’t you have something better to do with your time?
