To my friends here at Rostra,
When I started the process of running for the AD77th seat I was alone except for family and close friends. Along the way I was shocked to see so many great people come along side of me. From people who helped out financially to volunteers who walked precincts or made phone calls, I was often overwhelmed that people would invest so much of themselves in this race. More amazing to me was the continuing of support and encouragement after the election results were in. I feel truly blessed.
Sometimes things here at Rostra were harsh, but this is to be expected in a political contest. Caesar was stabbed on the floor of the Senate and Marc Antony had Cicero’s hands nailed to the Senate doors. I figure I got off pretty easy.
Thank you all,
