San Diego County Ballot Returns (E-12)

As of October 27, 2016 at 5:00pm, 997,672 ballots have been mailed to registered voters throughout the county. 229,765 voters have voted (either by returning their ballot, or through early voting).

This equates to an overall voting rate of 23.03% among all ballots mailed.

Breaking down the ballots by party, total returns are comprised of 36.23% Republicans (4.78% above registration), 40.74% Democrats (3.80% above registration), and 23.03% independent (8.58% below registration).
