“DeMaio was flanked at his news conference by [Roger] Hedgecock, [and] Richard Rider of San Diego Tax Fighters ….”
The same Roger Hedgecock that refused a Combat Veteran to appear on his show during the primary because of his vociferous and media stifling support of DeMaio, while Richard Rider was a party to a false and deceiving Demaio email smear against same Combat Vet that used false avatars to spread disinformation…all supported and endorsed by Krvaric’s GOP..
A proud bunch indeed. Welcome to the “New ” Generation San Diego!!
Here’s one to add to the “Round Up”…Another DeMaio sexual-harrassment accuser…why are all these former loyal GOP staffers coming out with allegations?
http://www.kpbs.org/news/2014/nov/02/second-campaign-staffer-accuses-gop-congressional-/
Anything odd about the person telling it one way to KPBS and a different way to 10 News? I’m seriously asking.
Greg,
I just read both stories. The phrasing may have been different, but I didn’t read any difference in the actions described. Did I miss something? Would you have said he was scripted if his words were exactly the same one week apart?
The bottom line is that there are now two accusers. Does anyone still doubt that there is truth to the rumors or that there wiill be more accusers?
Tweet from @clairetrageser: @jpowell80 @JoanneFaryon I checked with Justin and he says 10 News quoted him wrong. He’s going to request a change.
Bloomberg’s picked it up…

vociferous
[voh-sif-er-uh s]
adjective
1.crying out noisily; clamorous.
2. characterized by or uttered with vociferation
Author
Voraciously vociferous.
Best case scenario: Peters wins.
Worst case scenario: Republicans send an alleged sex offender to congress.
Think about everyone in the party’s inner circle, all the attendees at that now-notorious meeting at Tom Sudbury’s home where it was decided that Faulconer would be supported for mayor, and DeMaio for Congress. Now imagine what Speaker Boehner and NRCC Chairman Walden will think about everyone who was in that meeting. In addition to all the bridges this party has burned with donors, stakeholders, and the grassroots to support DeMaio’s career through two campaigns, we can not add the national party leadership to that list.
The party already had former staffers air their laundry in the Voice, but it just demonstrated the leadership’s own poor judgment and desperation to save face.
An even worse scenario: RPSDC is re-invigorated that it got a sex offender across the goal line, takes the GOP deeper into the RINO/establishment chasm, emboldening all the GOP enablers to make further poor and reckless decisions on endorsees..more registered conservative GOP-ers leave as 80K have already done. The GOP as it was defined as close as 2 years ago, is dead…
But Boss Tony, Papa Doug, et al will be happy..and that’s what really matters for the RPSDC…
Yeah, guys. Probably.
Or, how about this wacky scenario…. DeMaio gets elected and serves in congress.
The sky didn’t fall when they got rid of “don’t ask, don’t tell”. The sky didn’t fall when the courts let them get married or when the church let them take communion. The sky didn’t even fall when openly gay and lesbian high school students got elected to their homecoming court.
And I’d bet it won’t fall if an openly gay Republican voting the exact way you want him to vote on about 90% of the bills he votes on.
If what you are hoping is true turns out to be true about DeMaio, blame the other side for not presenting any proof or at least some kind of credible evidence.
