The candidate list is “up” at the Registrar of Voters.  Remember that if a name is listed, that doesn’t necessarily mean the person filed for the office by the Friday deadline.  See if the name is listed as “qualified,” meaning they actually finalized the qualification steps to run.  If an incumbent has not filed in a race, potential challengers have until this Wednesday at 5 p.m. to file; in which case they may not be on the list at all yet.  Cities other than the City of San Diego are not completed on this list, as the filing officer is the City Clerk’s office in each jurisdiction; check with the respective city for the candidates and status…

  2. One day? Heck, other than the open seat races in which the deadline has been extended, I already called it. Click on the link and look…I’m spot on. I will, however, hold off on my prediction of the ballot order of names in each race until the Sec’y of State draws the order.
