Will he still be in charge, just protected from the press because he is in therapy (doctors’ orders)?
Can’t he still sign or veto measures while in therapy?
At press conference, Filner announces he going into rehab, while he CONTINUES to carry out mayoral tasks (screwing up the city and perhaps striking back at the women who came forward).
He’ll be protected from the press because he will be in therapy. All a ploy.
Let’s see if the Dems continue to call for his resignation. I THINK they will, but we shall see.

The Dems have apparently just voted 34-6 to call for Filner’s resignation.
Last month I publicly predicted at least 20 women would come forward. Looks like I was too — uhhh — conservative in my estimate.
