Assemblyman Nathan Fletcher continued his well documented* and very real* surge in popularity this week when he opened a massive lead in the latest poll. According to local sources at the Patch.com, Fletcher now leads with 66% of the vote, enough to capture an outright victory in the June primary. Councilman Carl DeMaio saw a drop to 14%, District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis dropped to 9%, and Congressman Bob Filner dropped to 8%.
I’ve been waiting for a statement claiming victory from the Fletcher campaign since seeing the results, but something must be wrong with my e-mail because whenever I search for “Amy Thoma” I only come across this.
