More right wing racist hate speech? Nope, just some dopey Democrat Congressman. All is forgiven.

I believe we’ve discussed the hate speech issue on this website before, with lefties clinging to the absurd notion that it’s the right which is (solely) guilty of hate speech.

As it turns out, the right is NOT solely guilty. Or even often guilty. Or even more often than Dems guilty. Not even close. Hate speech and racist remarks overwhelmingly emanate from Democrats and other lefties.

Here’s the latest hateful slander from some dopey black Congressman who for unknown reasons can say anything he wants and not be guilty of racism, or of uttering racist hate speech.  Of course, this bozo’s remark follows close behind California’s Maxine Waters’ statement that “the Tea Party can go straight to hell.”

Wait — I found the excuse in the article for Bozo’s remark — the Congress critter was feeling “frustration” with Republican/Tea Party opposition. Well, THAT sure makes the remark okay!

Any MSM but Fox News report this story? I suspect not. CERTAINLY it won’t get much play if it is reported.

Rep. Andre Carson:  Tea Party Wants to See Black Americans ‘Hanging on a Tree’

Democratic Rep. Andre Carson told a Miami crowd last week that the Tea Party movement would “love” to see black Americans “hanging on a tree.”

The comment is the latest charged remark made by a member of the Congressional Black Caucus as lawmakers tour the country talking about jobs. Carson, D-Ind., lamented at the event that the Tea Party was stopping “change,” in an effort he said was reminiscent of the “Jim Crow” era.

“Some of these folks in Congress right now would love to see us as second-class citizens,” he said. “Some of them in Congress right now with this Tea Party movement would love to see you and me … hanging on a tree.”

The remarks were captured in a recording posted on YouTube. Carson spokesman Jason Tomcsi confirmed the congressman made the comment at a CBC jobs event — he said Carson was prompted by “the frustration” voiced by people about the inability of Congress to lift up the economy.

“He believes that members of the Tea Party are ones that are standing in the way,” Tomcsi told FoxNews.com. “He used the strong language because he believes that that agenda jeopardizes the most vulnerable.”

The remark drew a rebuke from Rep. Allen West, R-Fla., the only black Republican in the Congressional Black Caucus, who said he’s thinking about “reconsidering” his membership in the body in light of such comments.

“I think we should move away from using that type of language,” West told Fox News, calling the remarks “reprehensible.” He said some lawmakers are using the Tea Party as a “scapegoat” for broader problems.

This month, CBC member Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., also told a crowd that the “Tea Party can go straight to hell.”

  1. Andre Carson’s main qualification for office, other than his Grandmother (Julia Carson) serving as longtime previous incumbent, is being an Investigator for the Indiana State EXCISE POLICE, which enforces State tax laws on tobacco and Booze, from 1996-2005.

No wonder he does not like the anti-tax Tea Party!

In the world of Richard Rider, a 9-year veteran of the EXCISE Police is something to remember.

(p.s. I’m not making up the Excise Police, or that Rep. Carson worked there for 9 years. True story).

NOTE: This fellow did not just say “Tea Party.” His accusation is more specific:

“Some of them in Congress right now with this Tea Party movement would love to see you and me [speaking to a black audience] … hanging on a tree.”

In essence, he is accusing some of his FELLOW Congressmen and women of being secret members (or at least ardent fans) of the KKK. I challenge this racist putz to be even more specific, and NAME these KKK members of Congress.

    Name them — or resign.

Sadly, the black community that makes up his gerrymandered Congressional district not only accept such remarks as okay — too many likely agree. Otherwise he wouldn’t have said it.
