“One of the documents questioned by the plaintiffs’ attorney records a $500,000 loan taken out against the councilman’s El Cajon residence … lists the lender as Israel Moses Sieff LLC (Nevis).”
“According to numerous websites, a boy named Israel Moses Sieff born in Manchester, England, in 1889 rose to become a wealthy British industrialist and Zionist before he died in 1972. His name is connected to several conspiracy websites discussing the illuminati and the New World Order.”

I can understand the councilman’s confusion. In his capacity as a city government official, it’s S.O.P. to use bogus assumptions, projections and accounting to achieve the desired results. Based on this story, it seems he may have naturally assumed that such legerdemain was equally acceptable in the private sector — and in a court of law.
