Why: Across California, state and local governments are reeling from skyrocketing costs of pension benefits for government workers. Recent studies show California taxpayers may face an unfunded liability for government employee retirement benefits approaching $500 BILLION.  Among the speaking topics include:

  1. 1. Fiscal Outlook: condition of state and local government pension systems – and how much will taxpayers have to pay if solutions are not found?
