Carl and Darrell,
Since both of you have officially entered the race for Congress, I wanted to offer to show you around a little bit.
The communities of 50th Congressional District represent much more than just an opportunity to run for Congress! Ours are hard working, God fearing families who love the outdoors and don’t mind getting some mud on our shoes.
I’m convinced that after this tour, you might even like to live here!
Let’s start with the Boulder Creek trail by Jeep.
Not only will you get great views, but I guarantee we will “get air” and have a BLAST!
You DO NOT want to wear your good Sunday church shoes for this tour because there is a LOT of mud here in the 50th District!
We could stop by P2K Range. Have you been there?
Let me know a day and time that works for you!
Sincerely,
Brian W. Jones

Perfect.
Love it! Do I think DeMaio will take him up on it? Oh hell no. At this point, we really do know who knows this district well and who couldn’t care less about anything but attempting another failed attempt at running for office and losing to another Democrat!
Brian, this is really funny and a good way to get your point across in this race. Hope to see you on Saturday.
What about your commitment to Sacramento, Brian Jones?
Oh, this is good.
Ha!
Hahahah! Perfectly said.
O M G
SHADE, BRIAN JONES BE A SAVAGE!
I’m confused.
Where’s all the support for Duncan Hunter?
A year ago on this blog, there was a resounding unanimity that people are innocent until proven guilty.
I guess that was just all just political BS, huh?
“A year ago on this blog, there was a resounding unanimity that people are innocent until proven guilty.”
I still maintain that Hunter is entitled to due process.
“I guess that was just all just political BS, huh?”
It is. Since he was re-elected, his fundraising has suffered, his wife “cut a deal,” and he has been rendered ineffective by the House leadership. Hunter maintains that this is a political attack for supporting the President and that very well may be the case but he is unelectable at this point.
Since we are talking about “political BS,” let’s talk about how the Democratic Party rejected a candidate whom could have defeated Hunter (Butner) to choose a socialist (Campa-Najjar). If the local Democrats were truly about “party over country,” they would have recognized that a moderate Democrat could have been elected.
Elections are about choices and the voters chose to vote defensively in 2018; the lesser of two evils, if you will. If that’s “political BS,” then so be it.
Brian,
Although I’m supporting Congressman Issa, I’m glad you’re in this race and since you offered to give them a tour on my street (literally), I’d love to invite you and Darrell over to my house for a BBQ after the off road rally.
“Since he was re-elected. . . he has been rendered ineffective by the House leadership.”
Fact check: False. Hunter was stripped of committee assignments on August 21, 2018, which was months before the election. And yet, this crowd continued to support the crook (allegedly) after that point, so this argument must be more political BS.
“Hunter maintains that this is a political attack for supporting the President and that very well may be the case but he is unelectable at this point.”
So, if you believe this, what kind of political BS is it not stand up for the guy? What does that say about this group that they would turn their backs on a victim of political persecution?
Your comment that the real political BS is the Democrats not allowing the Republicans to choose the candidate of their choice to run against is noted.
