  1. do you mean – CA52 ‘Leans RINO.’ ?
since it appears that Kirk Jorgensen was the only one talking about our constitution,
yet he received just 18% of the votes.

  2. You are right ‘Details, Details’

perhaps we can still pull DeMaio over to the right side –
and for him to commit to signing up with the Tea Party Caucus.

Carl – please let all of San Diego know where you stand on the defense of our constitution. You are looking for votes from Americans, not just Republicans, right?

  3. Lee,

Please point out any instances where Carl DeMaio has violated the Constitution. Heck, please point out any instances where Congressman Peters has violated the Constitution.

  4. to reply to your question – Hypocrisy

no I cannot point out any instances for Carl DeMaio.

But by the virtue of Scott Peters not demanding that Obama be held accountable for his actions(ie Benghazi, Bergdahl, etc) , he stands with the Democrats and we all know where that group stands on the constitution. .

conservative House Republicans are increasingly call for impeachment. Then have the Senate (led by Harry Reid) publicly defend each of Obama’s impeachable offenses.

  5. Lee,

Nice rhetoric, but of course no examples of DeMaio or Peters violating the Constitution. And no, supporting the President is not unconstitutional and, by the way, nothing Obama did in relation to Benghazi or Bergdahl was unconstitutional either.

Just because you disagree with a decision on a policy level does not make that decision unconstitutional.

  6. Hey HQ,
Does this help you see some examples of unconstitutional behavior by the President, and a lack of refuting by Representative Peters? I would like you to show me a reference where Mr. Peters objected to the president’s abuse of power. You can’t. And Peters is a lawyer and knows better!
I have come to believe he’s been coerced into the DCCC machine which is sad.

From “The Wall Street Journal”: The Supreme Court handed President Obama his 13th unanimous loss in two years on Thursday, and this one may be the most consequential. All nine Justices voted to overturn Mr. Obama’s non-recess recess appointments as an unconstitutional abuse of power.

  7. TSS,

Let me repeat: Simply supporting the President is not unconstitutional.

Until you can find a specific instance of Scott Peters or Carl DeMaio violating or voting to violate the Constitution, you have nothing but rhetoric.

  8. HQ,
A lie by omission is a lie. Representative Peters is supposed to represent us, and stand up for the constitution, not the president.
The fact that Mr. Peters has never done anything but condone the presidents unconstitutional policies and behavior is guilt by complicity.

He could’ve easily sent out numerous mailers and press releases expressing his vexation about such actions and policies by the President, but he did not.
    Scott Peters: Fail.

  9. TSS,

By that standard, every elected official who stayed silent while Reagan sold arms to Iran or Bush had signing statements to say which parts of laws he would enforce was also acting against the Constitution. Is that really what you are saying?

  10. my reply to: Hypocrisy, et al

I just read today (UT) that we are asked to suspend our charges against this current president since past presidents have also done unconstitutional acts.

That being said, Obama has gone way beyond this powers as president and seemingly taunting Congress to stop him.
The Supreme Court can only do so much to stop a dictator (a title I am hearing more and more about Obama) .

It is now in the hands of the American people. .
If we do not stop Obama’s planned ‘fundamental transformation of America’ we do not deserve a free country.

re: Speaker Boehner. I posed with him for a picture. I then asked for another photo with us and my booklet. Once he read the title on the front – in big letters –
‘A Declaration to Restore the Constitutional Republic’.
    He ran away.
I then knew he was not on our side.

  11. Lee,

If you re-read my comments, you will find that I never said Obama hadn’t violated the Constitution. It is obvious that he, like other Presidents before him, has repeatedly done so. What I did say was that neither Peters nor DeMaio had ever violated the Constitution. I stand by that assertion and am still waiting for the proof that I was wrong.
