SACRAMENTO – Assemblyman Jones (R-Santee) questions the Governor’s recent snub of Sacramento Superior Court Judge Michael Kenny’s ruling that states the High-Speed Rail Authority “abused its discretion by approving a funding plan that did not comply with the requirements of the law.” Instead, Governor Brown says the building will continue. Jones applauds the call by Senator Vidak (R-Hanford) for people to re-vote on the high-speed rail plan, and says “This High-Speed fail is not what you voted for. It’s time for Californians to vote on this again, but this time, voters will know all the facts, and the true cost of this boondoggle.”
