From the Jeff Stone campaign…
Chairwoman of San Diego County Board of Supervisors Endorses Jeff Stone for State Senate
Majority of County Supervisors support Stone’s bid for Senate
SAN DIEGO, CA – San Diego County Supervisor Pam Slater-Price has thrown her support behind conservative Republican Jeff Stone for State Senate joining the majority of other San Diego County Supervisors who are already part of Stone’s campaign team.
“The State Legislature’s spending is out of control,” said Supervisor Slater-Price.
“Jeff Stone will fight to end the looting of our local dollars from counties and cities. I trust him to lead with integrity. Jeff knows how local government works; he will fight to stop the special interests in Sacramento that have pushed our state to the edge of bankruptcy,” said Slater-Price, Chairwoman of the San Diego County Board of Supervisors.
“I’ve always respected Pam Slater-Price for her leadership and commitment to San Diego County,” said Jeff Stone. “I’m honored to have her support as well as that of Supervisors Bill Horn and Greg Cox.
“San Diego County voters deserve strong, honorable leaders. I am committed not only to holding government accountable, but every elected leader as well and that includes myself.”
As a statewide anti-tax warrior, Jeff Stone chaired the NoWay1A campaign to help defeat Proposition 1A in last years special election – an initiative that would have increased taxes on families by $16 billion and done nothing to stop runaway government spending. Stone is also the chairman of Reclaim California, a group fighting government waste, fraud and abuse.
