From Jordan Marks at Young Americans for Freedom…
The YAF 50th Anniversary dinner will be on October 16th at the Hyatt Regency in Irvine, CA just down the road from the Western Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). This dinner will also celebrate the new YAF National Leadership that will be elected earlier that day during our convention.
The featured speaker will be Dr. Lee Edwards, one of ourdistinguished founders from Sharon, Ct and we will also be awarding the “Guardian of Freedom” award. There will be a VIP reception from 7 – 8 pm with an open bar and dinner will begin at 8 pm.
CAL-YAF has always played a key role in the organization and we felt it was necessary to have a dinner honoring the hard work of alumni that have been on the front lines defending freedom! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I hope you join me and YAFers from across the nation that will be there to applaud our history and celebrate our future. It is just as important to me that OAFers reunite to celebrate our amazing history and unite with the new YAFers.
YAF now more than ever is needed. In CA — where we will have either Jerry Brown or Meg Whitman leading the state — and across the nation, to remind our supposed “leaders” what it means to be conservative. We are leading the good fight as you may have seen on Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC, or read about on Drudge Report, WND, SDROSTRA, and the FlashReport.
Your attendance would mean a lot to alum and to new YAFers. If you can lend extra financial support to fund a student’s seat or sponsor a table that would be truly amazing. You can go to www.yaf50.eventbrite.com for more details on purchasing your ticket as well as event sponsorship. Please pass along and invite other alumni you feel might enjoy attending.
