I’m running for Congress in California’s 48th District, and I couldn’t be more excited — because this community is part of who I am. I’ve spent decades here — not as a politician, but as a dad, a neighbor, and a pilot who built his life right here in San Diego County.
This is where I coached, volunteered, and put down roots. This district isn’t just a place on a map to me, it’s home.
For more than two decades, I’ve had the privilege of serving this community — first as a local mayor, then as your County Supervisor. I’ve fought to keep taxes low, hold government accountable, and protect the quality of life that makes this region so special.
I know this district — its families, its challenges, its potential — and I’ll fight every single day to make life more affordable, more safe, and more free.
