As of October 17, 2016 at 5:00pm, 964,365 ballots have been mailed to registered voters throughout the county. 19,528 voters have voted (either by returning their ballot, or through early voting).
This equates to an overall voting rate of 2.02% among all ballots mailed.
Breaking down the ballots by party, total returns are comprised of 34.07% Republicans (3.31% above registration), 42.24% Democrats (5.31% above registration), and 22.98% independent (8.62% below registration).
