I hope that Congressman Bilbray can address the issue of pre existing conditions, which his statement “The Affordable Care Act…does not address the basic the factors that drive up the cost of care, namely, excessive litigation by trial lawyers and protectionist policies that do not promote competition in the insurance industry” doesn’t address. In addition, Congressman Bilbray is is well aware that California (as do most other states) have Malpractice tort reform (in California it’s called MICRA) and its passage hasn’t lowered health care costs at all. The MedMal insurance industry even admits that. In fact, since malpractice cases are filed in state and not Federal court, I’m not sure what this law would look like. I would also like him to explain what the “protectionist” policies are he says are driving up health costs.
I think you’ll find a lot of solutions from the 15 other speakers as well.
Brian – I hope you are right about the solutions.
It looks like Obamacare will not be repealed by our current Congress.
but – Obamacare is only part of the much bigger problem,
with all the executive orders, Obama has signed –
fundamentally transforming our nation
It looks like the only solution is to replace our President – so that we can begin the process of restoring our constitutional republic.
– watch this interview about the Ohio Private Investigator with breaking story about the SSN# Obama has been using…

A simple web search shows the “breaking” story linked by the last commenter is months old, while rumors about the president’s social security number have been circulating for years. The story makes some claims that are very easily debunked. There are definitely some strange curiosities about Obama’s SSN, worth some fodder maybe, but the chief claims of the PI have been raised and easily refuted before.
It may also be worth noting that on average, Obama has issued fewer executive orders than any of his three predecessors.
Obama’s average number of executive orders per month is 2.75
Bill Clinton was 3.78
George H.W. Bush was 3.44
Saint Ronnie was 3.95
Of course, this type of thing wouldn’t matter to anyone with an interest in facts

Oops, I forgot Dubya — he averaged 3 executive orders per month.
thanks – Thor’s assistant and Democrab.for your feedback. I stand corrected on the executive orders and the breaking news. I guess using another SSN # is no big deal. . .
once Obamacare is repealed – Happy Days are Here Again ! NOT !
I listened to Roger Hedgecock today when driving back from an appointment. . Today – he officially announces that Obama is a dictator.
Obama has been pretty successful at implementing his promise to “fundamentally transform the United States of America”.
now how does Americans deal with home grown dictators?
Do we wait and hope for a Nov election that may not occur –or–
convince him to resign?
I hope I will hear some real solutions at this Obama Taz Rally on Sat.
“I hope I will hear some real solutions at this Obama Taz Rally on Sat.”
I”ll offer a simple plan– more market and less force:
(1) Use the Commerce Clause for what is was intended; to facilitate rather than regulate commerce. Let more insurance companies compete in the states rather than having each state restrict and license competition.
(2) Get the AMA out of the board certification process and medical school certification process. Encourage more for-profit medical schools and more doctors.
(3) Stop government licensing of nurses. Hospitals can determine their own hiring standards and their insurers will have the ultimate blessing on those standards.
(4) Stop restricting (or discouraging )medical financing companies. How houses and cars can be financed, at the consumer level, but a medical procedure can not, astounds me.
(5) restrict Medicare with an eye towards replacing it (for younger folks) with robust Medical Savings Accounts. Give seniors vouchers and let health care providers compete…like they used to.
(6) privatize the Veterans Administration Benefits through a voucher and catastrophic insurance credit.
More market; less government. The Obamacare Tax established a national insurance cartel, overregulates the procedures, and enslaves health care providers.
Glad to know what kind of people will be attending this rally. Your party deserves you and (vice versa).
“Your party deserves you and (vice versa).”
Do you want to make an argument against what I’ve proposed, ask clarifying questions, or would you rather just sneer?
@ Brian – “I”ll offer a simple plan– more market and less force:”
your solutions make a lot of sense.
now who is to implement them? our current president?
but to quote a friend of mine I spoke to yesterday. The Republicans had complete control of the House and Senate for 2 years under President Bush. They could have passed anything, But they sat on their hands. Now it is the Democrats turn.
If all conservative groups and churches unite under one unifying goal – Freedom – we can then ‘convince’ our representatives to do the right thing.
“your solutions make a lot of sense.
now who is to implement them? our current president?”
Of course not. Here is two-step plan (for Californians) to repeal the Obamcare Tax in toto:
1–Elect 4 additional pro-repeal Senators, which would give us a pro-repeal majority. We can’t do that in CA but I”m donating money to Ted Cruz, Connie Mack, Denny Rehnberg & George Allen.
2–Replace Barack Obama with a President who is committed to repeal. We have two choices: Gary Johnson and Mitt Romney. Pick one and donate the maximum to him.
Once the Obamacare tax is repealed, we can focus on market-based solutions to the health insurance cabal. Elect liberty-oriented Senators and Representatives and the next President will get the right legislation on his desk.
@Brian – as usual – you have a good plan –
Just have to interject 2 points
re- 1 -we can get a Republican Senator in California elected – IF –
we mobilize to register and educate all eligible voters
(who believe in God) ,
.
mobilize all pastors to join either the Salt and Light Council or VisionAmerica.us – and/or allow us to set up voter registration tables after church services .
ie- in 2008- Obama carried Florida by 230,000 votes. However, after the election, they documented over 409,000 eligible Christian voters who did not vote. .
We need to mobilize the Christians,Protestants, etc in California
– repeat in every state. Republic saved.
That works for me, Lee. I don’t see it happening this cycle but it is a strategy worth pursuing…immediately.
Brian, you made those great points at the rally as well. Well done on the whole thing to you and Rhonda.
Thanks B-Daddy. It was cool to see the SLOBS represented at the rally
