Per the North County Transit District:

COASTER and Amtrak train service between Oceanside and San Diego is cancelled until further notice due to severe weather conditions. Severe weather is also impacting the SPRINTER light rail line between the Oceanside Transit Center and the El Camino Real Station.  A bus bridge is in place to bypass the Coast Highway and Crouch Street Stations – all other SPRINTER stations between El Camino Real and Escondido are open at this time. BREEZE bus passengers should also be prepared for delays caused by local road closures. BREEZE routes 306, 331 and 101 have been suspended until conditions improve.

Updates will be issued as conditions warrant. NCTD is sorry for any inconvenience, but safety comes first. Check their website: www.gonctd.com for updates

  1. Of course. This post is placed in the interest of public information due to an exceptional situation.

A quick review of Jerome’s blog posts reveals that most of them are either: 1) informational (usually something to do with his beloved mass transit); 2) petty, not very clever swipes at his political opponents; or 3) his analysis of the finer points of Encinitas politics that only he cares about.

He never blogs about anything substantive or interesting because then he’d actually have to take a stand on something, and that can be hazardous to any politician’s political prospects.

May be time to cull some of the deadwood on your blogpen, even if that means rubbing a few local poobahs the wrong way.
