At an Oceanside Chamber of Commerce event last night honoring retiring Mayor Jim Wood for his years of service, he publicly announced his endorsement of Diane Harkey for Congress.
Wood is pictured here with Harkey (left) and his wife Pam.
Oceanside is the largest city in the 49th Congressional District, where Harkey seeks to win the seat following the announced retirement of Congressman Darrell Issa.
Issa has also endorsed Harkey as his successor.
