Covered California to release list of health plans, rates
Sacramento Business Journal by Kathy Robertson –
Monday, May 20, 2013:
Covered California, the new state health benefit exchange, will release a tentative list of health plans and rates for the program at a board meeting in Sacramento Thursday.
The meeting will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the auditorium at the Office of the Secretary of State, 1500 11th Street in Sacramento. The open session is expected to begin about 12:30.
In other news, The Sacramento Bee’s Jim Sanders reports that Secretary of State Debra Bowen has announced that CA will be the first state in the nation to use the health exchange as a voter registration hub. Apparently for no specific reason, other than to make certain all eligible potential voters have the opportunity to register to vote.
OKEE DOKEE!

Do you have to be a citizen to qualify? If not, and I imagine NOT, voting is attached? Okee Dokee!
