Hi all, and welcome to Week 3 of the NFL! Crazy to think we’re already here, and through two weeks, we’re starting to get a glimpse of the identities of each of these teams. A quick summary of what we think we know so far:

  • The Dolphins are an absolute TRAINWRECK. Nobody seems like they want to be there, and it shows on the field.
  • Daniel Jones and the Colts (huh….?!) are 2-0, which is a shock to everyone. It’s still WAY early, but what a start for the Colts!
  • Josh Allen and the Bills are off to another hot start, and he’s making an early case to win another MVP.

PICKS (25-7 Overall)

Miami Dolphins (0-2) @ Buffalo Bills (2-0)

  • This looks to be the lopsided matchup of the week, as the Bills host a dumpster fire of a Dolphins team. Bills by a million.

Pittsburgh Steelers (1-1) @ New England Patriots (1-1)

  • My Steelers made several boneheaded mistakes in their loss against the Seahawks. I expect them to turn it around against a rough Patriots team, and if not, we’re going to have a conversation about this Pittsburgh season.

New York Jets (0-2) @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-0)

  • Baker Mayfield is a DAWG, and with Justin Fields out for the Jets, I think the Bucs take care of business at home.

Las Vegas Raiders (1-1) @ Washington Commanders (1-1)

  • This game is a little up in the air, especially with Jayden Daniels being questionable to play with a sprained knee. I’ll take the home team.

Houston Texans (0-2) @ Jacksonville Jaguars (1-1)

  • A classic AFC South matchup, which tend to be kinda ugly. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is a low scoring game that flies under the radar.

Los Angeles Rams (2-0) @ Philadelphia Eagles (2-0)

  • What a game on Sunday morning! I had a very hard time picking this game, as both teams enter trying to stay undefeated. Winning as a road team in Philadelphia is quite difficult, so I’ll take the Eagles in a tight game.

Indianapolis Colts (2-0) @ Tennessee Titans (0-2)

  • Another gross AFC South matchup. Let’s see if Danny Dimes can keep the early season success going in his first road game.

Cincinnati Bengals (2-0) @ Minnesota Vikings (1-1)

  • The battle of the backup quarterback! Jake Browning vs. Carson Wentz. I’m here for it. Vikings by 3.

Atlanta Falcons (1-1) @ Carolina Panthers (0-2)

  • Well, the Panthers are still bad. Michael Penix Jr. has had a rocky start to the season, but I think he’s shown some promise to be a solid starter for the Falcons.

Green Bay Packers (2-0) @ Cleveland Browns (0-2)

  • Another incredibly lopsided matchup, but for whatever reason, good teams struggle in Cleveland. Packers by a touchdown.

New Orleans Saints (0-2) @ Seattle Seahawks (1-1)

  • The Seahawks defense and run game really showed up against the Steelers in Week 2, so they should win at home against the Saints.

Denver Broncos (1-1) @ Los Angeles Chargers (2-0)

  • The Chargers are atop the AFC West! I see them winning a tight game to start 3-0 in the division.

Dallas Cowboys (1-1) @ Chicago Bears (0-2)

  • The Cowboys are coming off a shootout win against the Giants, but I think they fall short to the Bears in Chicago.

Arizona Cardinals (2-0) @ San Francisco 49ers (2-0)

  • Mac Jones gets his second start for the Niners, but I think they are just too banged up to keep this win streak alive.

Kansas City Chiefs (0-2) @ New York Giants (0-2)

  • Weirdly, this could be a super close matchup – maybe even an upset alert! I think the Chiefs get their first win, but one can dream right?

Detroit Lions (1-1) @ Baltimore Ravens (1-1)

  • Some think this could be a potential Superbowl matchup. It’s VERY hard to win in Baltimore, especially at night with the Ravens wearing their black uniforms.

BETS (4-2 Overall)

Rams/Eagles Under 44.5 Points (-110)

Jaxon Smith-Njigba Anytime TD (+130)

Justin Herbert 15+ Rushing Yards (-197)

FANTASY

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Brian Thomas Jr.

  • He’s had a very hard time with drops so far this season, but I really believe he returns to form.

Have a great weekend everybody!
