During her current Bus Tour, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin agreed to pose with a celebrity impersonator . The nearby crowd was stunned by their resemblance. Please examine the photo closely, and then tell us which you believe is the Real Sarah Palin … and which is the excellent impersonator. (We’re entitled to relax and have a little Fun here on the weekends, ‘K?).

Jim, we sure are glad you included the disclaimer about having some fun on the weekends, lest Democrab and Sandy Eggo might have trashed us with criticisms, due to our blatant lack of profundity!
We need to start calling these verbal buckets of cold water on our good-natured fun “Crabicisms.”
As for Name That Palin, the ONLY reason I will even guess is because I noticed a few days ago Palin has been adding highlights to her hair. So I say the real deal is on the left, and Rostrafarian and Palin lookalike Erica Holloway is on the right.
The Libertarian Lass doubles down with the Sarah Palin on the Left (a first there). Is the Lass correct about those hair highlights, or is she overthinking the thing? Further opinions are welcomed .
And therein lies the difference between women and men…
Gayle guesses based on hair color, and I am going to guess the pretend Palin is on the left, because I looked a little lower.
== RIM SHOT == …. Shouts of, “Hey Yo!” from Ed McMahon .
OK…. we have a WINNER on this matter and the winner’s name is Gayle Falkenthal. The geuine Sarah Palin is on the left, complete with the tell-tale highlights, as astutely spotted by the Libertarian Lass.
And to D7 voter… the picture fooled me as well, so you are not alone. As a consolation prize, however, you have now discovered that Ms. Palin has Unexpected Possibilities.
BTW, that is Ms. Palin’s father standing behind and between her daughter and fine impersonator, “Cecilia Thompson“.
For unknown reasons, my post on this topic (picking the correct Palin) never made it to the list. Hope this website isn’t starting to develop the same glitchy problem with find on Facebook!
Sorry to hear about this, Richard. What was your guess?
Oh it was no guess on my part. One can easily spot the real Sarah Palin. She is looking rather circumspect on meeting her living caricature. Sarah appears rather frumpy compared to the imitation — it is not a public event but rather an ambush meeting.
Furthermore, the imitator would be decked out in all the proper Palin attire — which she is. Sarah is not.
Thank you for that addition.
The accompanying news story said that Governor Palin enjoyed meeting THIS imitator who, unlike the ‘Saturday Night Live’ imitator, is respectful of her subject.
The gray-haired gentleman in the background is Sarah’s real father, and he is alo enjoying their fun meeting!
