San Diego — In San Diego on Monday Assemblyman Marty Block will convene a hearing to examine what would happen to California’s economy if he stopped voting to kill jobs.
The hearing will be held at the Port Pavilion at Broadway Pier, 1000 North Harbor Drive, San Diego, 92131, Monday October 1st from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; the public is welcome to attend.
“In an election-year attempt to uncover the mystery of California’s hostile economic climate and rampant jobs-flight to other business friendly states, Assemblyman Marty Block makes a bold move by holding a hearing,” said George Plescia. “Business men and women in San Diego will rejoice that Marty is finally willing to examine his own voting record and its detrimental effect on job creation.”
“Marty Block’s record over the past four years is the culprit behind what he obviously feels is a perplexing phenomenon. Votes have consequences. Any business owner knows this. Any tax hike or job-killing bill has a real friend in Marty Block. There is no need analyze any deeper than this. He should just look in the mirror.”
The hearing will attempt “to analyze the economic conditions in San Diego and look closely at the barriers to slow economic growth and…the impact of the sequestration process on San Diego’s economy,” according to Block’s announcement. However, many of the officials testifying are Democrats running for office, like Block, who have no jurisdiction over a sequestration process.
“I find it ironic and more than laughable that Marty Block bills the hearing as an analysis of looming automatic defense cuts on the region’s economy because the Bush Tax Cuts are set to expire. Marty has done the exact same thing at the state level. He says if you don’t raise taxes we are cutting education. He loves taxes even at the expense of our children’s education,” George Plescia concluded.

George, don’t forget your main campaign talking point: that Marty Block loves child molesters.
Why anyone should believe anything George Plescia says after his obsession with propagating such lies is beyond me.
