“It has always been my priority to support Small Businesses in San Diego any way I can.  These two business owners got a raw deal due to the recent Occupy SD protests.  I am asking the San Diego community to come together to help them in their time of need.”

  1. Hey Carl-
When the same cup of coffee was available at $.99 around the corner, how could they attract a lot of ordinary people by charging $3.50 for that same product??? I think they are exaggerating a little about why their business had tapered off, don’t you think?

  2. These people are just being opportunistic. You’re getting rent relief for claiming Occupiers are destroying your business when you are doing a great job of destroying it yourself with your expensive, not great coffee. And guess what – YOUR BUSINESS HAS WHEELS. Go bring your business to people who want to pay that much for your product. Maybe La Jolla? Rancho Santa Fe?

Did you even thank the Occupiers for replacing your tip jar when someone stole it, leaving you with more money than was inside of it originally? NOPE!

As for Downtown Johnny Brown’s – I’m really disappointed in you guys because the Occupiers are the reason your business is up 60%. I never even knew that place EXISTED before OccupySD started. You have them to thank for your continued boom of business.
