Another day in the unfolding Filner saga.

It’s been 6 days since the Enabling Trio called for Mayor Filner’s resignation.  It’s been 5 days since Marti Emerald called the Mayor “courageous.”

While there’s a growing consensus among Democrats and Republicans that Filner should resign, let’s see the Democrat scorecard on those calling for the resignation:

Worth noting: former SD Co. Chairman Jess Durfee and current chair Francine Busby.  Nor has new Democrat leader Nathan Fletcher.  PS…he’s showing real leadership with his silence on Filner’s sexual harassment!

6 days since this all started and these enablers are still not calling on a resignation?  Wowsers.

As was revealed at today’s Democrat-led press conference, Filner’s smooth moves have actually been branded as the “Filner Headlock” and the “Filner Dance.”  Further confirmation that these people have long known of this behavior and failed to do anything about it until he became a political liability.

Shame doesn’t begin to describe what these elected officials should feel.
