Election Night Live Blog

SD Rostra will participate in a live blog discussion on Tuesday night with writers, bloggers and tweeters from — GASP! — SD CityBeat and the OB Rag.  We may have political differences throughout the year, but once the polls close, whatever, it becomes about pure results analysis, not smack.

Ok, well, there may be a little smack, but it will be of the good natured variety!

What is a live blog?  Organizer Dave Maass of CityBeat says, “It’s essentially a beefed up online public chat room. It’s meant to be a fun, witty, intelligent post-game discussion of how the campaigns went.  Throughout the night, we’ll be chatting, but we’ll also be posting photos and live election results. We’ll also try to track down some people wandering around Golden Hall to see if they want to sit down and be a guest for a little bit.”

A handful of Rostra bloggers have been invited to join in on the post-closing of the polls analysis.
