Newsom’s dishonest redistricting scheme is a threat to fair elections

In 2008 and again in 2010, California voters passed two citizens initiatives to stop politicians from gerrymandering the lines of their own election districts for personal and partisan gain. Voters took that power away from politicians and wisely created an Independent Citizens Redistricting process to devise maps based on strict non-partisan criteria.
Voters should choose the politicians – not the other way around.

I think it is even worse than that. It is really a stunt to get his name in Nation wide news. I hope it backfired? The more people hear him speak the more they will hopefully realize he is an empty suit! He still thinks he deserves the WH!
He failed to mention at his Dog and Pony Show press conference the price for this election! He has already run the state into the red, and people vote their wallet. Push the money fact, and that half the state voters don’t want it!
