Under increasing pressure, Marti Emerald’s office released a list that they claim is their “Advisory Council”. The problem? There are some 34 names. The original press release clearly said there were 20 members of the council. This is an issue.
One likely scenario is that team Emerald looked at the 20 list, saw that the list was not the kind of list that would reflect favorably on her, and took four days to stack it with others that would reflect more favorably on her. The excuse that they had to run this list past the City Attorney is obviously false, but we’ll know when we move forward with the public information request EXACTLY what she asked… and the word is she asked if she really had to give the names up at all… and EXACTLY when THIS list was built.
Like they say, it’s not the crime, it’s the cover up. Just glancing at the names, by the way, I can see real local community leaders are not going to be happy. Here are the names:

Does anyone really believe Ms. Emerald? I mean how often has this “group” met? Once again, she plays loose with the facts and continues to prove the “watchdog” is anything but – she is the one who needs to be watched – and closely.
Perhaps she might return some dignity to the office but simply being honest from the beginning – this is not the first time this novice has dug herself a huge hole – and fell in.

Perhaps you could do the research to see how other Council members form their committees.
Otherwise you are jumping to conclusions and chasing your tail.
