Don’t kid yourself; Supervisor Dave Roberts supports Measure A, the SANDAG county-wide sales tax increase. He says it’s “good” but won’t take a position because “it’s controversial.” This is politician speak for “I don’t want to be held accountable for what I really say” and it’s Clinton-esque.
His challenger, Encinitas Mayor Kristin Gaspar says that this is exactly why she opposes it. She went so far as to call it the “thirty dollar frozen yogurt cone.”
If you are a registered Republican living in Supervisoral District Three, don’t be fooled by the “non-partisan” Dave Roberts. This is a politician who abuses his staff, says one thing and does another, and is supported by a dark money “Foundation.”
He sounds just like Hillary Clinton.
