Democrats Thinking the Weight of a Plastic Bag will Change a Person’s Behavior,
“Are You Kidding Me?”

SACRAMENTO, CA – On a strict party-line vote, the State Legislature passed a bill to ban single-use plastic bags. In today’s “Are You Kidding Me?” segment, Assemblyman Jones (R-Santee) questions how replacing one type of plastic bag with another will alter someone’s shopping routine. “Banning an item is not the way to change consumer behavior,” said Assemblyman Jones. “If it looks like a plastic bag, feels like a plastic bag and replaces the current plastic bag, what do you think is going to happen? Don’t be fooled by Sacramento’s absurd thinking.”

  1. What problem is this ban supposed to solve? Responsible people have been recycling plastic bags for years as I have.

I would hope they have better things to do in Sacramento like private sector job creation, cutting the size of government and creating a more friendly environment for business.

Instead they focus on plastic bags and transgender bathrooms
