SACRAMENTO, CA – Assemblyman Jones (R-Santee) today warns the public about a law that went into effect January 1st that requires homecare workers and nannies to be paid overtime. Jones said, “Homecare workers and nannies are deeply passionate and caring people that work one on one with your children – your parents. Now California Democrats have opened these families up to money hungry litigants and trial attorneys. This policy will turn a family’s ability to affordable care for their loved ones on its head.”
