SACRAMENTO – Assemblyman Jones (R-Santee) responds to the public outcry following Governor Brown’s recent signing of AB 1266, the “transgender bathroom bill.”  The bill will allow students to be on an athletic team or use bathroom and locker facilities with the gender they “identify with”, regardless of their actual gender.   Assemblyman Jones wants to hear from people throughout the state and encourages Californians to contact his district office at (619) 441-2322.  Jones says, “Just because this bill has become law doesn’t mean it’s too late to express your views.”

  1. Perhaps we can take the same approach to this law as many did with Prop 8…just ignore it.

I think Mr. DeMaio and Mr. Faulkouner can assist on how to ignore propositions and laws that passed and negate the will of the people or the authorities under the law. This one should be easy..after all, it was the brainchild a few Democrats in Sacramento, not millions of Californias across the state…

  2. Simple answer, crazy idea. No thought to immense unintended consequences.
Let the 0.0001% of students who legitimately have an issue use the bathrooms in the teachers lounge, instead of causing totally undue problems for 99.9999% of students
Get back to teaching Math and Science, instead of this social engineering malarkey.
Sacramento is not serving the people
