SACRAMENTO – As the Legislature returns for the 2014 Session, Assemblyman Jones reflects on the misguided budget priorities of 2013 in his latest “Are You Kidding Me?” segment.
“My hope in the New Year is that our budget priorities are not centered on pet projects such as hydrogen fueling stations for only 227 cars but rather on keeping our streets safe and protecting our private property rights,” Jones said. “Later this week Governor Brown will unveil his budget plan for the upcoming fiscal year, and my hope is that more of your hard-earned dollars are saved for a rainy day rather than spent on new programs we just can’t afford.”
