SACRAMENTO – In his latest “Are You Kidding Me?” segment Assemblyman Brian Jones (R-Santee) reflects on Independence Day, a day to commemorate the adoption of the Declaration of Independence and the unique freedoms Americans enjoy. But Jones declares freedoms are being chipped away year after year, thanks to California’s burdensome, over-reaching government. Jones says, “This Independence Day, I encourage you to think about what this day really means as Americans. It’s time to take our Country back – to reclaim the freedoms and liberties that are being eroded by our ever intrusive government. I want to make sure our next generations, our children and grandchildren, will have every freedom our Constitution guarantees.”
