SACRAMENTO, CA – In this week’s “Are You Kidding Me?” segment, Assemblyman Jones (R-Santee) discusses California’s low voter turnout and the importance of every vote. According to a recent Public Policy Institute of California (PPIC) survey, 67 percent of those polled had little to no trust in the state government. “Many voters feel that their vote simply doesn’t matter anymore,” said Assemblyman Jones. “That is why many choose not to vote, not because they have a difficult time registering. Sacramento is ignoring the voice of the people.”
