SACRAMENTO, CA – In this week’s “Are You Kidding Me?” segment, Assemblyman Jones (R-Santee) calls for politicians to enact “real” government reform in the area of workers’ compensation. In a November 2014 survey conducted by the Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services, California was ranked number one for the nation’s highest workers’ compensation costs, coming in at $3.48 per $100 of payroll on average – a mind-boggling 188% of the national median. “It’s time for politicians to stop hiding behind their phony reforms and get to work,” said Assemblyman Jones. “Join me in keeping Sacramento accountable so we can actually work at reducing costs.”
