Democrats Forcing Californians to Reduce Shower Times,
“Are You Kidding Me?”
SACRAMENTO, CA – Assemblyman Jones (R-Santee) today released an “Are You Kidding Me?” segment highlighting the misplaced priorities of Legislative Democrats regarding the water crisis. In November 2014, California voters approved Proposition 1, the water bond, which allocated $7.5 billion to various water projects throughout the state including $2.7 billion toward water storage. Assemblyman Jones says that the majority party has not made water supply a priority.
“Democrats think the solution is to force Californians to reduce their shower times and make you pay arbitrary fees for using too much water,” said Jones. “Instead of telling Californians how long their showers can be, we should fast track water storage projects that will benefit all Californians. This is why I’m supporting Assembly Bill 311 to expedite the legal review of water storage projects.”

Once again, Jones jumping on bandwagon ideas to solve the state’s drought, but did nothing to mitigate the water shortage while in office for the last six years until it became politically feasible. Fake leadership, fake ideas, fake vanity!
