Your KCBQ show last Sunday afternoon was very good,
as usual.
You had a liberal guest, discussing gays in the
militray, and allowed him to ramble on for a while,
letting the listeners draw their own conclusions
about the agenda in question.
That is a technique rarely used on radio, but quite
effective.
I recommend Bob’s show to any Rostra readers
who have not yet heard it. KCBQ am-1170 every
Sunday (from 3 to 5 pm…or is it 4 to 6?)

Hi Jim
Thanks for your encouraging comments about my radio show. The program is on from 3:00-4:00 Sunday afternoons.
Actually, my guest last Sunday, Larry Good, is very conservative, believe it or not. It was rare to see him take the side of the plaintiff on this particular case and yes with that topic, he and I did disagree although we found items to agree about as well. Having said that, I do bring on people who disagree with me as often as possible, allowing them to get their view across before I offer challenge/debate. My shows on October 24 and October 31 in particular highlight such discussion. I had a very friendly/interesting dialogue on the existence of God with an agnostic.

Bob:
The highlight for me was the discussion of how many
people on a Navy ship can read Portuguese. San
Diego has a large Portuguese-American colony,
originally based on the Tuna fishing industry. They
sometimes refer to themselves as ‘tuna chokers’ ,
and are culturally very conservative. That added an
ironic note. Your guest may not know that history.
I again recommend that readers listen to your Sunday
show. If you like Dennis Prager, you’ll like Bob Siegel.
