I’m not a big Sandra Bullock fan, but she did a sensational job in The Blind Side. This true story features Sandra as a Conservative, a Republican, a Christian, and an NRA member, all in one. It’s difficult to believe such fare was a major Hollywood release, especially since the woman is portrayed as a heroine. Nevertheless, people from both sides of the political aisle seem to absolutely love it. Bullock is convincing as a spunky, blunt, compassionate woman who reaches out to the disenfranchised.
Hmm…Spunky, but caring for the underdog, and a Republican, and a Christian, and a Conservative, and an NRA member, and (lest we forget) a happily married mother, extremely committed to her family!
In case you didn’t notice, I just described Sarah Palin. True, I’m also describing a woman in a popular movie based upon a real, honest-to-goodness, living individual, (Leigh Anne Tuohy). How could this be? How could Blind Side be so popular, even with those on the Left, while Sarah Palin remains a cursed name in their intimate, conversations around the water cooler? Could the media have accomplished such a successful smear campaign, that people are reacting to the very name, Sarah Palin, without knowing much if anything about the woman?
This is Bob Siegel, making the obvious, obvious.

Maybe …. because Sarah Palin’s an idiot?
Jefferson. I will respond to your comment on my radio show early in January.

That’s right, Jefferson, instead of being able to actually discuss, defend, or disagree with the apparent dichotomy (hypocrisy?) that Mr. Siegel thoughtfully brings up regarding the liberal elite, it is much easier to simply resort to platitudes in the form of name calling.
A reminder that anyone is invited to weigh in with a comment here, as long as they can rationally discuss a matter.
Even idiots.
Bob Siegel, if I were to tell you about a tall, skinny lawyer from Illinois, who polarized the country when he became president over issues that he believed were the right things to do … You’d say, “Hey, that’s Abraham Lincoln, one of the most famous presidents of all time. He’s on Mt. Rushmore, the penny, the $5 bill, he has a holiday in his honor as well as a memorial that serves as one of the most famous landmarks in America.”
By that token, does that mean we also have to love Obama? Not many people on this blog do, but they do love Obama. In fact, many of the people who read this blog support a political club that bears Lincoln’s name, but they hate Obama.
Your logic that America is supposed to love Sarah Palin because the girl from Speed plays a conservative, NRA-belonging white woman in a movie that grossed lots of money is ridiculous. People don’t like Sarah Palin because she blew it last year. She was the nail in the coffin and I won’t ever forgive her for that. I don’t think the media is fair, but don’t start going down this road of biography and characteristics in a Hollywood feature and expect it to translate on the political stage … it’s the same kind of logic that can get you to start believing everyone who likes Honest Abe has to like Obama too.

Those who are commenting that Sarah Palin is an idiot are the ones idiots and have a hallow head. Tell you what the difference: Sandra Bullock is just an actress and they supported the movie because it is just (BLANK-EDITED OUT) entertainment. Put Sandra Bullock in a reality of politics and in the footstep of Sarah Palin and you will know the answer. My comment is just simple with common sense reasoning, in which, perhaps, some american idiots do not have. The lefts and RINOs hate Sarah Palin because she is grave threat to their corrupted political interests, and those americans who embraced these corrupted political figures are nothing but idiot voters. By the way, you cannot equate intellects with common sense. There are a lot of intellectuals out there that have no common sense at all and these are the reasons why they are weakling political leaders.
