California was once known for having some of the best public education in America. Today, too many parents feel like their children are being left behind while costs continue to rise and accountability continues to disappear.

Congressman Mike Levin continues supporting a system that spends more and more taxpayer money without demanding better results for students, parents, or taxpayers.

I believe we need a different approach.

Parents deserve transparency and a voice in their children’s education. Students deserve schools focused on achievement, critical thinking, career readiness, and opportunity — not political agendas or bureaucratic excuses.

And taxpayers deserve accountability.

We cannot continue asking families to shoulder massive student debt while universities raise costs, expand administration, and too often fail to prepare graduates for the jobs our economy actually needs.
