Multiple people from several departments within City Hall have informed me that Xema Jacobson’s run as City Councilwoman Marti Emerald’s Chief of Staff came to an emotional end today. Who will replace Xema is yet to be seen, but I am sure there will be a flood of questions about Marti and the direction she wants to take, given her terrible standing in her district.
