Here’s a major reason people run for Republican Central Committee… to vote on Who gets a Place on this Influential Voter Guide.      In June 2010, roughly 105,000 registered Republicans elected the 55 Men and Women who made these Key endorsements.   The Power of this slate is well known in political circles.     In releasing it overnight, Chairman Tony Krvaric wrote, ” I just finished the Official Republican Voter Guide for San Diego County and wanted you to see it…In addition to this online resource, we will be communicating our endorsed candidates directly to Republican voters in person and in the mail through our Victory Campaign.   Thank you for your trust &  confidence in the Republican Party of SD County. Together we will make history!”

…..2    SCHOOL  BOARD CANDIDATES FEATURED…. (Mark Powell and Scott Hasson)

Of note this year is inclusion of Education Reformers  Mark Powell and  Scott Hasson.   Both  are challenging Public Employee Union-backed candidates for San Diego City Schools (District A) and SD Community Colleges (Dist. B).  Good call by the Central Committee to prominently feature both of them.

Learn more about   Scott   Hasson’s  gutsy  race    for San Diego community college board at his website.  Meanwhile   Mark Powell’s campaign for the SD City school board (vs. incumbent John Evans)  is picking up momentum.   You can  rally around Powell  at  his excellent website as well.   Both candidates  are worthy of aid by Rostrafarians.

….. AND AN INTERESTING  STATISTIC

In 2010, the On-Line version alone of the official Republican Voter Guide was   downloaded  a remarkable   27,369 times!
